Established in 2000 and backed by a legacy that began in 1975, K.J. Steel Rolling Mills has emerged as a leading manufacturer of Special and Alloy Steels in North India. Headquartered in Jalandhar, Punjab, our integrated manufacturing units and strong leadership have helped us become a trusted partner for customers across India and export destinations worldwide.
With a total production capacity of 300,000 TPA, we are committed to meeting the growing demands of industries such as Automotive, Engineering, Railways, Defence, Agriculture, Power, and more.

Unit 1: K.J. Steel Rolling Mills – Jalandhar
Our primary rolling facility in Jalandhar is equipped with advanced infrastructure for manufacturing a wide range of alloy steel products. This unit forms the backbone of our operations, delivering consistently high-quality steel across diverse industrial applications.
Our Ludhiana unit is a modern steel melting and casting facility that enhances our vertical integration capabilities. With advanced melting and casting technology, strong process control, and a dedicated quality laboratory, this unit ensures consistent and reliable steel production. Strategically located in Ludhiana’s industrial hub, it plays a vital role in supporting key sectors with dependable quality, technical excellence, and operational efficiency.

Mr. Pritpal Singh Chawla
(Chairman)
Mr. Chawla had the foresight to lead the Steel industry and KJSRM in particular on a transformational journey. Born in March 1964 at Jalandhar, Punjab and secured a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from Doaba College in Punjab (Jalandhar), GNDU University. He has almost three decade of rich experience in the Iron & Steel industry with hands on experience of setting up greenfield projects. His keenness to give back to society and a desire to improve the lives of individuals led to the formation of KJSRM. He leads from the front and is a driving force behind the group.
Mr. Ramanpreet Singh Chawla
(Managing Director)
Mr. R.S. Chawla was born in October 1990 at Jalandhar, Punjab, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and a Master’s degree in Finance from Apeejay College, Jalandhar, Punjab.
He has almost a decade of rich experience in the Iron & Steel industry. Venturing into the steel business at a very young age, he has been playing a pivotal role in guiding and strengthening the company’s steel operations.
Possessing a never-say-die spirit, he has acted as a torchbearer, steering the company smoothly through challenging times with resilience and determination.
